Hey everyone! My name is Meghan and I'm playing Martha Arable in the show. I have had such an amazing time working with everyone in the cast and crew so far, and I know it's just going to get even better as everything comes together.

Today, we had our first off-book rehearsal (meaning we weren't allowed to have our scripts on stage with us), and it went splendidly! I was a little nervous for being off-book, and everyone knows that the first off-book rehearsal can be filled with long pauses and missed lines. But today, the atmosphere during rehearsal so positive! Everyone was so focused and knew all of their lines, and the run-through went incredibly well. It was so easy to see that every cast member had worked so hard on memorizing their lines and beginning to develop their character, and I know that as rehearsals continue, we'll make more acting choices that will bring our characters to life.

During rehearsal, I also took a lot of pictures of the run-through, to document the process of bringing Charlotte's Web to life for you all! I will continue to take pictures throughout the entire year at Perspectives events and rehearsals, because I was elected as this year's Historian, meaning I am responsible for preserving the year's memories. I am so proud to be able to document the hard work that everyone in Perspectives, both cast members and technicians, contributes to these shows; it is incredibly remarkable to see what we can bring to the stage and the community.

I am constantly blown away by the talent in this group, and I am so excited to see what new, happy memories this show will bring :)

Thank you!
Meghan Fickett, Senior Perspectives' Member, "Martha Arable"
