Everyone has their own happy place, a place where they can relax and be distracted from pains and problems, and where they can give rise to positive emotions by escaping from reality. Paint Branch Perspectives is my happy place, and it's a place where one can escape from reality.....literally. It is a place where you can be whoever you want to be and no one would care because the characters that Perspectives produce, they don't just become your friends, they become a part of you. They become family, and this is something very unique to Perspectives, and it is something I treasure deep within.
It is great to start the school year spending time with some of the people you love the most and it's always exciting to involve yourself in both tech as well as stage performance. With the commencement of the Fall Play hype, both tech and acting have been really fun and educational. Today(September 26th 2017), the actors played out the scene "Solomon Islands" from the play "All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten" and it went well, although it was a short scene, we learned how to scream and that is a great accomplishment....for most of us.
Hope every other rehearsal would turn out to be one where we all learn something and eventually make the fall show a successful one to be remembered.
