Directing Staff

AMBER CLAIR PERKINS, DIRECTOR, started teaching at Paint Branch in 2004. She has taught every grade level in English and teaches all of the Theatre classes. Miss Perkins graduated from Point Park University with a BA in Theatre Arts and has a Master of Theatre Production and Design from Southern Oregon University. She directs Paint Branch Perspectives, the school’s drama club and the Forensics Team (Public Speaking, not CSI). CRISTIN RYAN, TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, started teaching at Paint Branch in 2008. She is a member of the science department and teaches chemistry and biology. After school, she works with the Perspectives students on set construction, props, lighting and sound. Ms. Ryan received her Bachelor's degree from UMBC, her Master's in Teaching from Towson University, and her Master of Theatre Studies in Production and Design from Southern Oregon University. cristin.a.ryan@mcpsmd.net


GREG CASEMENT, ORCHESTRA DIRECTOR, Mr. Casement came to PB by way of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami where he previously taught and earned his Master’s in Music Education. Mr. Casement teaches band, orchestra, and guitar at Paint Branch and also conducts the Marching Band. He began directing the Pit Orchestra in 2018. gregory.a.casement@mcpsmd.net
